Home Blessings

The practice of a Home Blessing is a beautiful tradition which has been preserved for centuries. At St. Anne Catholic Church, Fr. Joseph typically goes around and blesses homes during the Easter season.  Home blessings are also performed before moving into a newly built or existing house and for other various reasons.  

During the Easter season, Fr. Joseph will offer a sign-up opportunity.  He thoroughly enjoys going to the homes of parishioners and blessing every corner and room of the house.  He also blesses land and farmsJ.

It is recommended that parishioners do this once a year with the Baptismal water from Easter.
